Just about ready for an engine transplant now!
All the loom and hoses etc are disconnected from the 1400 SR lump! Just need to drop it out, take it about 5 mins down the road and fire it into the Mk1 shell! Can't wait
Here's some pictures of the engine and box still in the orange Nova in my garage:

good work mate the hardest part is sourcing all the bits you need and it looks like you have the lot :thumb:
Got most of it - I've mis-placed the 1400 dizzy but I'll find it somewhere lol
Will be lying in the Nova somewhere! The engine oil in the 1400 is like brand new as well but going to change it all before it goes on the road :)
Have you had the bay painted then ? Or was there no need ?
Looking good buddy. What are you going to be doing with the Orange one?
if its in your garage it could take a while to find haha or inside that orange shell for that matter.Quote:

Really no need to paint the engine bay on the MK1 IMO - Very very clean and original, one day it'll get painted though :)
Orange one will either move somewhere else or stay in my garage and be kept as a spare shell for something as it's very very very clean and original too
I'll find the dizzy lol It'll no be far away
Cheers for the comments!
if your doing a rebuild you would be best spraying the bay to make it mint no point cutting corners cos thats all your doing by not painting the bay
