Powder coated goodies look nice, whats the easiest way to clean the inside of the hub carrier for fitting the bearings?
Don't you lose strength the way the crossmember has been modified as it's no longer a box section?
-
the knuckles have heat proof tape on the inside of them, still have to peel that off. under neigth should be the original surface.
im sure there will be some loss in strength but numerous people have cut and rewelded a peice in the cross member for the IC.

Looking stunning there old bean. Keep it up :p

Whats the plan of action from now then? Ready for this years shows?

cheers benn.
keith, im hoping it will be ready for june. funds really are limited and getting the engine built to a fully rebuilt spec will be a task. i may have to consider buying a ready built standard spec engine just to use for this year. hopefully not.
once ive got the front suspension back together ill get the headlining in, cage powder coated and fitted, dash, carpets and all the interior in.
