In short fella a lot of cash! Its cost me a fair bit anyhow for paint/materials/dent and vinyl guys etc. High standards dont come cheap as everything else these days.Quote:

Stunning !
Nice one Nick, looks great not much left to do :D
WOW! Looking more like a car now, looks factory fresh imo..
Awesome, just awesome!!!!!
Stunning work Nick.
I'd strongly advise against painting the underside. I'd prep it and gravitex, maybe do it a dark colour. I feel it's always in the back of your mind whilst driving the car which is why this winter i'll be doing mine with dark underseal.
Thanks mate, After we spoke about the above a while back I took onboard exactly what you said.......... My idea is to gravitex and overpaint in a solvent based matt grey. I did think mustard underside to begin with but It would be an utter nitemare to upkeep. At least grey would go with the lower half and other items so it would be inkeeping with what Ive done and not show the dirt as much whilst still looking well and protecting the underside.Quote:

Yeah agree with that, i'm planning on going grey in my inners, and black gravitex everywhere else.
U better come to PV in this lol
I'll see how Im fixed with work etc when pv comes around fella...... If not I'll hope to catch up with you at billing regardless. :)Quote:

Just to be picky as I know how perfect you like things, does the swage line on the passenger side quarter not quite line up with the one on the door or is it the angle of the picture? Just wondering if the door needed lifting a little at the back?
Nova panel gaps are a nightmare though, both my front wings line up totally differently.
Great work though, good decision to stick with the blue/grey lower half.
Cheers and Your right Lee it does indeed need a final tweak.... Its bang on everywhere else however. I imagine we'll sort it before the mouldings go on that way if it altered my line it would never be seen anyhow etc.Quote:

Problem with that is hammerite chips quite easily! Whats gravitex like? I've not heard of it before, can't be dealing with waxoyl again on mine, horrible messy stuff.Quote:

il just do a few layers of hamerite i supose ha ha!
Thats the thing... sometimes If you alter a point it tends to throw it out somewhere else. nova alignment/gaps are pretty poor in comparison with newer cars nowadays etc. We'll be on the case in an attempt to alter it best we can though.Quote:

I wasn't picking holes btw Nick, expected you had already noticed it and was onto it.
Indeed I had, from the moment I put the pictures up I was waiting for it to be mentioned! As said a little more tweaking should see it sorted with a bit of luck.Quote:

The detail of the roll around with the grey is spot funking on. It looks perfect that's a proper detailed touch.
Cant believe you've painted the bonnet again.
Looks fantastic dude, as i keep saying. Cant wait to see it in the flesh.
Wow! Shaun will be pleased to see it looking so perfect! lol
Sure am.
Looking absolute stunning Nick.
Jumping back to the intercooler question.
Yes Nick it was made by Pace, it was made for Billy and Andys ZLET Corsa and i got it from them.
Pace do sell just intercooler cores so that you can just specify the sizes you want, this is what i done with my last project then just made the end caps at work to fit.

looking foward to seeing it :d
I keep resisting adding to the constant barage of praise for this car, but just to let you know Nick. I am still watching and am in utter awe of what you are doing here. I did have a mustard Yellow Nova in mind for my next theme, but it'll always be in the shadow of this one, so another option is being thought out. lol
I look forward to the next instalment as is everyone else. :thumb:
Looks spot on Nick, everything down to the smallest detail looks perfect.
Hope you can adjust the door to make it fit 100% or as close to 100% as you can. If not do you still have the old door? Could painting and fitting that one be a option?
Craig.... I cant thank you enough with comments like that. Your way too kind. much appreciated. :)Quote:
