took all my front suspension components to work today and stripped them down. removed the gay poly bushes i had in there and pressed out the bearings ready for powder coat.

went after work to drop them off with the powder coaters. 40quid will see them all gloss black to match the rear beam. :d should be collecting them on saturday morning.

Really wish I had the extra dough to bet mine all stripped and coated. Maybe once it's built and it gets a refresh that may happen. Still a good few years away.

update

bought some new bits from a motor factors this week, discs,wheel bearings and rack gaitors.

got the rack stripped and painted. fitted the new rack boots as the one had split, wanted matching boots so couldnt just to one. fitted the rack back on today. pic is horrid sorry.

painted all the front suspension bolts,nuts and washers. yes i know once i tighten them up the paint will come off. but, they'll only need touching up rather than painting them all and getting paint on the car.

also cleaned up and painted my track rod ends, lower ball joints, tie bar bracket blocks and the lowering blocks for the tie bar/lower arm. pic of my wheel bearings too.

pair of meriva 280mm brake discs, have only got to sort out some mintex/ferodo brake pads then the brake system can all be finished.
