I like to go for a spray finish as its smoother and more efficient use of paint and cheaper too.
Only smoother if you can remove all the rust from the drums in the first place, Sure on new drums its worth spraying, but not on old drums IMO.Quote:

i would go with awo6's idea its simple and effective, and i sprayed mine with cans, and it just shows the imperfections of the drum, regret doing them red however ....
