the marks are from the clutch slipping and getting too hot. get some emery tape on it, wont make it perfect but something we always do at work when doing a clutch.

Not many motor factors sell them locking tools. Most will probably be able order them from draper though.
The fly looks fine, yes its got hot as fook (everytime its used) lol
Benn, are there any cracks in the surface? Excess heat from slippage will cause cracking. If no cracks then its fine really.
