Taking this wayyy back to the 1st few pages when you R/J'd the linkage. Have you left it with the top 'rotation' shaft on the gearbox side bolted through the lower of the 2 holes on the upright? (make sense?)

iirc Dans old 1.6 had an unsprung 4 paddle plate.... drove just like a normal car lmao
