Doors and boot lid were opened whilst painting to do all the shuts and inside the doors. The bay was painted first before the body so the underside of the bonnet was done too.

I once thought about that, but I just love the snowplough. As the exterior goes this is it; snowplough, GTE rear bumper and GSi spoiler. No skirts, no vinyls just gold :).

Having a sleeper would be fun when smoking big cars but I have to have the plough on.

Yep utterly standard metallic White Gold by Vauxhall, exactly what it says on the VIN (not tin lol). The colour match is fantastic, it really is nice seeing the car in one shade of proper gold.

You only need to change the N/S mount when sticking in an F28. I'm going for an F20 so I can use the original mount.

great feeling have a car freshly painted, i got mine back from bodyshop last week. Did they sort the alternator cutout in the end?

Yeah realy can't wait to get it home and put everything on it. A lot of refurbed, cleaned, and new bits going on so it'll look mint.

Yeah, knocked it back a bit using a mallet. He didn't wanna cut it and felt knokcing it back was the best way to go about it and can always be 'adjusted'. But I'm very happy with everything.

The gold looks awesome.

Iv never seen many Nova's in that colour before.

Good luck with putting it all back together, should be top when finished.

Cheers Edd, there's only one Nova on here with this colour, and I haven't seen this colour anywhere on the road. So if there is on then it's pretty well hidden.


Many people commented on the colour when it first got to the shop to the lads working there saying 'is he sure he wants to go for that colour?'

Now that they've seen it with fresh shiney paint people have actually said it looks lovely in that colour.
