So why the new loom?
Bet you haven't got many friends left; with you owning a Escort Cosworth and an M3 lol I know i'm jealous ;)
Benn cosworth looms tend to cause problems when old, and you can get voltage drop through the old fuel pump looms, so id rather replace it all and know everything is 100% as im upping the power (only to stage 3). More to the point, the new one looks alot better!lol
I still have a few friends left lol
Oh right, shonky fords.
lol
If i was shoving an extra 100hp on any car Benn id renew the fuel pump live at the very least, last thing you want is voltage drop to the fuel pump, Engine loom was mainly for looks as said, and there was nothing wrong with the old loomlol
this looks the nutts mate keep up the good work.
rick
At the end of the day its a mk5/6 escort and there fusebox's and looms are disgustingly bad whatever guise they are.
Yip, fuse box has been replaced by the last owner just before i bought it, cost about £360 to replace!
Just think of all the cash and time you would have free to finish this badboy.....
that looks the dogs mate my old man had saphire cossie in dark red and a white escort cossie which was hand built if done right there funking rapid. his was anyway ?keep up the good work me and my dad have always said as soon as i can insure one we will get another white esscort cossie they really are a great car thats a lovely one be proud of it !!!
any updates Dan?
No mate afraid not, got loads of nuts and bolts re zinc plated and thats about it, just slowly taking parts off for when it goes for paint. Everything is on hold untill we buy a new house as need to keep some cash back for that.
