scott - i only used 2x plasticote rattle cans (my faves) thats what i used all the time on the white nova - god send! albeit - its a track car, so the finish on the alloys isn't really important to me
longlive - yeah, happy with standard power (for now) and just going to go throttlebodies again like last time

i think the tigra wheels are a definate no no, decision is between the cav gsis and the cesaros, now i think its because of the colour of my car - which is why i dont like the cesaros black, maybe they'd look better in silver?

The cesaro shot is the latest shot, as i've lowered the front end moreso, in comparison to the two previous pics.
I think I'm swaying towards standard cav slabs, in which case i'll sell the cesaros on, and get another set for road going...
I prefer the slabs too out of those three pics. If the Cesaros were silver it may be a different story though.

imo maybe try the grill and bumper the same black as the cesaro's might look alright or might look gash try a photoshop and see

well at the moment, the cav slabs have the track slicks on, and the cesaros have the road going proxes on.
nothing will happen before the trackday on sunday - so we'll see after
bought some champayne paint today to spray the lower valance to add to sleeper effect (for now)
or what about astra fan blades ??
Oli i think that the Cesaro's would look good in silver or white, try a shop of them etc.
But i must admit i think both other wheels look at home on the car too.

the front lower panel is getting sprayed champayne tonight, so that should tidy it up a little at the front end... :)
right, now im not sure on how many different bad paint reactions there are in the world, either way I think my little session experienced all of them!!!
either way - looking alot better (imo of course) now its sprayed a similar colour
local halfords didn't sell the vauxhall champayne colour, so I bought the ford colour, and it's not tooooooo bad (or is it?) lol (untrained eye talking)
anyway, loving the black cesaros now personally, so maybe it was that front valance that was just putting me right off :)
i'll redo it when i have more time, but in time for the trackday - this'll do now

must of been because the grey valance was a diff colour to wheeld, poss?
as said, cesaros look lots better now - think ill be there sunday to have a nosey aswell

it has just took me about alf hour to look through this thread but its amazing, and the car is amazing, just love it. i would love to see that go round a trak, espacilly as it looks so standard sleeper haha, but good job alot of time and effort put into this project and lets not forget the DOSH lol, but yer perfection, my dads the same lol.
But overall love it, wish i had the time and money to do my SRI track style, i shall get some pics of my mates GTE sleeper of before and after kk, shall post up soon...

ordered some bits today...
- Eccentric top mounts with sleeve nuts to fit Spax RSX coilovers
- 313lb springs to suit above coilovers (standard ones are 250lbs)
- SM alloy fuel swirl pot
- 4x 195/50/15 Toyo R888 semi-slick tyres
- Cabling for battery re-location
Still to buy...
- pair of new fuel pumps
- oil pressure sender for gauge (only currently have light)
- omp front strut brace
- better brakes (new pads, or 4pot setup)
- Battery box
