One thing I carnt get right is the door gap on the nearside. I have put a new post in the car as the original one was bent where the hinges were. With that done I thought it would be sorted but no still the same. I carnt see any other damage to what the cause is ! Yes pal far as I know. I've tried another door on it and it's the same.

Been on the look out for a early tailgate for ages and this came up 10 miles away so snapped it up. Needs a little work but it's solid. Also need to get a key cut as no key for it. Will get it prepped and painted then can get my gte spoiler on. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5b0e70375a.jpg

Iam binning the wiper so not fussed. It's off a left hand drive car.

Few things ive done first was to weld up the wiper hole on the early boot I got hold of. And decided to paint the grill Matt black with the rest of the kit. Just need to get a new key for the boot as it didn't come with one. cant beat a dewipered boot.
Long due update with this being my daily car it's hard to get it all painted in one hit so I've been at it in stages. I got the near side painted last week on the drive. I've done it in 2k.
Few more pics built up ready to do off side next week hope fully. Be glad when it's done.

Paint looks really good.
Thanks pal. Don't like using 2k cos of lack of oven and air Fed mask. It's nasty stuff. The finish of it though is great.

Finally progress. Got the off side stripped and ready for paint. With the weather on the up got the side painted today with the door and wing. Some pics. Will get the other pics sorted tomorrow as forgot to take them lol .. Been thinking of a new colour for the bumpers and grill ect. Went to halfrauds and had a browse through the paint and settled on peugeot graphite grey. Done the grill 1st as a test. I like it so gonna get some mixed up. Here's a pic. Also a pic of the side I painted last week.
