ok, to get your cars details changed at the dvla, so you can tax it correctly, you also need a valid mot.... and a valid mot with the new engine fitted is a positive thing whenn you change the details...
people are trying to pull minor holes in something major here... the person who crashed it will have left fingerprints & dna transfer in this car, the police really should get involved.
the offence of crashing a car during a road test is fairly minor..
the offence of covering up who was driving when it was crashed is massive... and definitely involves prison time.
