I've never seen bilstein coilovers, were they custom?
Na mate, got them years ago but the rear needs turrets so I never ran them pity as they cost me £850 lol

Well so far I've got new full sills ( Hadrian ), 2 GM front chassis legs ( bought them but won't use them unless I really need to ) new GM boot floor , new GM rear panel but still need 2 quarters and a front panel, once I've got them then the grinder comes out lol.
Can't wait to see the work start on this. I've got the fantastic task of fitting new sills and rear arch panels to my SR at some point when I find the energy lol

were did u get the rear panel from mate and how much did u pay for it
lol got it of ebay last year, brodie sri of here got a job lot of panels to rebuild his sri and then the bodyshop advised him against rebuilding it due to the rot so he sold all the panels, iirc i got it for about 180 quid, and picked it up in the afternoon after i drove these two cars at a track day:d proper epic day out, the missis loved driving the R8:thumb:Quote:

It's been done before, you should see the guy on mig that's been building his nova for seven years, it's proper epic rebuild in the shell all new front end etc, I would stick up a link but there is a rule about promoting other clubs etc so don't want to upset the mods, but by f••k the guy is good.
That and the fact my brother and two mates are panel beaters are are old time trained, before all the fancy lazerline jigs came in it was all done by measurements, that's where I got the thing in my sig about the chassis measurments.
Pm me it bazil ;)
Oh and its just i got told bad stories in the past of bodge repairs
Thanks for the link bazil, +rep ;)
some amazing work gone into that :thumb:
PM me link too please. :)Quote:

okay so ive been vewy lazy and done sod all to this so today straight of last nights nightshift i went up to the workshop and started mincing, it took me a bloody hour to get the o/s bottom door pin out and that was with heating it till it was red hot lol,
http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/y...i/d51eaf0a.jpg
then i couldnt get the other door of as my brothers vectra has a dead battery and both rear wheels seized solid and i wasnt for wasting my time on his motor.
http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/y...i/ab3ac977.jpg
so dash out then all the full loom out TOTALLY UNCUT!! including the 2 alarms and 2 imobilisers that are fitted to it, not much fun.
http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/y...i/0c866415.jpg
also started to remove the headlining but was getting a bit tired and didnt want to make a mistake and rip it.
i was supposed to go out tonight but spent to much time playing at novas i missed my reservations at dinner lol lol
