Nope I didn't - My mate's Dad did the welding for me...I just cleaned and prepared the metal on the inner arches
Didn't take long to do either :)
I need to tackle mine and i've never done bodywork welding on that scale before so slightly nervous about it lol
I can't weld at all and don't want to mess it up on the car but we're doing it at college in the next couple of months so that'll build up my skills and confidence
It all looks so easy but it's not lol

Paint it BLACK and put the decals on, now this would make it like an evil sport and look very good IMO :thumb: :d

For what its worth young man black with sport decals, couldnt get further away from it being a sport look a like or replica but its keeping the decals.
IF it was me the idea of doing it black with everything els would be more original then any other nova about at the shows in 2010...
But it's not my car, nore do i have all these parts etc.

Black with all the Sport decals looks amazing. There's no rush to decide on colours, obviously you have to be 100% sure on which colour you want before it's painted, it's your car at the end of the day. I'm not a big fan of red cars but it is one of the best colours IMO when its fresh and the paint is mint.
I quite like the mono version that RJ did. Do you want me to put the standard 3 colour strip graphics on it?Quote:
