Do you get the ECU light randomly coming on? Apparently it is linked to a dodgy sensor(s), o2 etc. I thought it wanted a rap battle at first as it looks like a mic. lol

They're meant to be restricted on power when that happens. Mine is fine though. lol

You rolling a Sporting? You can't knock them for go-kart handling, Smart car like parking and MPG though!

Posh. lol S plate Sporting here. Does the job for me though. What MPG are you getting out of curiosity?

That non-start thing, does it just turn over and won't fire then when you try it later on it will start right up?

There's a lot of misleading info on that forum about the transponder chip losing the code so the ECU doesn't recognise it. That's not your issue though, and the 'key code' light stays on on the dash if it doesn't recognise the chip anyway.

I will take a look on the forum too, because I'm sure in amongst all of the ****e I read something that sounded like your problem.

Any idea if the washer pumps are the same on a Punto or anything? I cleaned up the terminals and got one working, but the other doesn't want to know. The main bod of them (solid unpainted steel) was falling off in great chunks too. lol

I used to like my mates Pineapple mk3 Astra Sport. Nice colour.

Thought maybe ignition switch at first but it has only happened twice..

Don't pay a lot of attention to MPG..

But I stick about £15 a month in the tank..

I use it for work and bits and pieces..

I live pretty close to work so its not a huge milage (I put 1000) miles on my Tigra Bermuda in 2 and a half years)..

So, has to be over 45 MPG at a guess..

Oh and I agree, the Cinques look way cooler than the Seis..

I assume that's what you meant...
