Oh really? VXR engines are still fairly new. The modern car world has been bolting on doors for decades. lolQuote:

Its now at the spray shop for the bits to be sprayed and then MOT'ed (hopefully will be OK).
There is some knocking noises coming from the front when you go over smallish bumps - I suspect its either the roll bar link bars or the bottom arms - either way its not a problem as I have some new ones of both coming from Autovaux next week.
I have a some rear discs and pads coming as well along with a timing belt kit, water pump and new gear linkage.
Cheers

lol nice tidy workspace you got there!!!
Ay it gets a bit like that when I'm busy - will have a tidy up next week !Quote:

It was quite tight in places but not as bad as a XE/LET in a nova lol .
Next was hammeriting the engine subframe which was a bit cruddy in places ....

Also changed the front bottom arms and rollbar link rods as well.
Next up was a new gear linkage .... which was a ball of a job ..... but I have removed the plastic parts which aparently wear out quickly on these and Corsa C's which give gear selection problems......

After changing the air filter, oil filter and pollen filter it was time to hammerite the floor pan .....
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15...a/PICT0310.jpg
Next up was the back end which again needed some TLC ....
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15...a/PICT0314.jpg
The rear discs needed changing .....
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15...a/PICT0311.jpg
