yes mate it did fit basically bang on even tho was not a genuine bit .... new pics off todays events
masked the bay up and primed welds
and painted engine bay 1st cout is with bro in pic lol
then last is what we left it as to dry over weekend

Looks a good base mate, should defiantly get them times down now the engine is in a real car! lol
Looks good, BUT why not paint the blukhead/scuttle bit too?
I presume it was a proper spray job and not rattle cans like me lol
mate im fecked off tbh i didnt think the paint was going to come out as glossy as it has the shine is mint! so i masked that up thinking there would be no difference. The chap next door painted it for me but he said to do that ontop of the fresh paint on the bay would leave overspray everywhere, so 1st thing monday im going to mask the bay up and hes goin to paint the bulkhead bit. The difference in colour from fresh miami blue to old miami blue is unreal!! well chuffed though even with the seam sealer that i thought would make it look **** but its quite neat tbh! :dQuote:
