i am unsure yet to go for ARP's or just normal.

should they always be replaced?

and i doubt i will run ARP's as im not aiming for any high power so...

they say to measure them iirc but i dont have that book they all follow so i just replace them, no need for arp if you dont want to rev the tits off it but they are a small insurance lol

i got the head back today, and the guy let me down yesterday.

it was pitted, thats why i got it skimmed, and it has lost alot of the pitting, but some still remains. the guy who skimmed it said it would be fine as long as it doesnt go into the seal ring.

and also some new parts arrived, a valve lapping tool and paste

nah i havent sorted a car, yet. i will start to look in the future when the engine is good. and ready

not sure what to go for, something rear wheel drive, and small and light. doesnt have to be vauxhall

ok, got through a cold running thermostat, 82 deg rather then 92 deg.

a baffle plate with bonded gasket.
just a quick question, do i still need any other gaskets with this bonded gasket?

what do you want? id buy mikes corsa tbh. ideal for a conversion.:thumb:
