Looks stunning mate! Can't wait to see it at the shows :)
looks good matey!!
I have just read the thread from when you won the awards for the red one last year. Absolutly unbelievable attention to detail on both the cars. I was a bit unsre at first why you sold the red one and then bought this with the money and didnt think there would be much to do on it, but fcuking hell Lol...im loving it and as much as i loved the mk2, this one is easily one of the best novas around.
Will definetly be checking the updates all the time now, cant wait to see it all back together and so glad you have kept with the sr look.
can i eat it?
Wow. Whoever said you cant improve on perfection was very much mistaken!!! Stunning results as always!!

The passenger door and tailagate were excellent but the drivers door had a tiny hair on the top swage line. I tried to flat and polish it but it must have been under the lacqeur so I couldnt get it out. So the next night it was rubbed down again and back into the booth it went......

Perfect this time round, Phew!......

The passenger door meanwhile was going on along with the tailgate too....

Also some windows surrounds were prepared for paint. One of the rears had a slight dent in which was fixed and primed......

And lastly for this eves the front end came back off so I could gravitex the front panel. Using the fine line tape I masked a nice neat line across the lower half of the front panel and just underneath the cooler. Once overpainted it'll look good whilst adding to the protection of the panel etc.....

Thats it for now hopefully some more progress soon! :)
Nick.
Looking awesome dude, trims in bumper grey? If so nice touch (copy cat lol)
Doors look sexy as.
Nick, are you replacing the existing front bumper?
Trims are going same colour as door handles and fuel cap which is actually a different colour to the wheels and bumpers just slightly though.... I did it this way to break up the two main colours a little.Quote:

Top work as usual.
Are you painting on the grey lower half like you have the wings?
Yes fella, I want the doors on and fully lined up before I do that though. Then I know things we be accurate etc. :)Quote:

Yeh I thought it may be too much with just two colours as the sr's have quite a few different grey on them as standard with the spoiler, handles, mirrors, vinyls, bumpers and surrounds all being slightly different etc. I can see the reyland calipers getting the same grey treatment too as I dont want them to stand out as they do now.Quote:
