Its Ben it's my only car, i can borrow my dads if i need too. So yeah its my daily car, one thing i've always liked is that its still my daily car.
The weather is a big factor, i try not to use it in the winter really as i dont want it getting covered in crap and salt so, its prob best, there is a large list to do...
No clue on the feature, i'd love it to be in there..

If you were planning on fitting the f28 for next season anyway you might aswell do it now while the car is part stripped. In regards to engine rebuild - if you can afford it. Do it once and do it right but will cost you.

To all the f28 haters it IS a much better box. Having owned both and not just driven the once or odd occasion it makes the car much more pleasant to drive - especially on the motorway.

I had planed to fit the F28 over the winter yes.. Just wanna make sure fitting the F28 is the way to go... As i've never driven with one before and its not something if i don't like i can change..
I can afford a engine re build, have alot of the stuff already (zlet oil pump and stuff other stuff is small really, might fit ARP's but are they really worth it when i'm not upping power that much, billet flywheel and new clutch and maybe a Quafe) Not much more really needed engine wise, just wanna stop the oil leak (oil pump gasket i think) and have a new head cause the stem seals are leaking..

Being able to drive on the motorway at under 4k would be nice.. Is that really the only difference?

F28 FTW :-)

Do it all now!

F28 is stronger than f20 so you know it will cope with power better. Only real prob is the syncro's failing.

It just really drives nicer Benn. Sat doing say 70/80 on motorway then planting your foot in 6th on Ph2 is a hoot! You'll be 130+ is next to nothing!

I have a good box here ready and if i fit it i'll diff it too. So i'm not worried about that. Its the fact once i cut the mount off its a have to have that gear box.. Plus not having driven one before i dont know what they are like...
