Polishing the box will take a bit of time up! I know a few who have done it with great results etc. Suit your car too ;)
Nick.

I think you're meant to do that when you're banned from driving lol.Quote:

Is it your only car benn? Your daily runner? IMO I'd take it off the road fit the f28 and any other plans that you've made whilst it's off the road. I crashed my gsi 2 years ago due to the crappy weather and also remember at the time quite a few others crashing there cars due to it.
IMHO benn I wudnt run it through the winter do you really need a show class turbo nova to drive thru salt and snow? No I didn't think so.
Also why hasn't there been a feature on this car yet? Something your not intereted in?
Look forward to more updates.
Id wait until the start of the new year, more likly to be snow on the roads then! Keep it on the road for now while its just wet. I presume you dont use the car much anyway?
Sorry to hear of this bad luck my friend.
If you were planning on fitting the f28 for next season anyway you might aswell do it now while the car is part stripped. In regards to engine rebuild - if you can afford it. Do it once and do it right but will cost you.
To all the f28 haters it IS a much better box. Having owned both and not just driven the once or odd occasion it makes the car much more pleasant to drive - especially on the motorway.
