Edd..... im in the same predicament, 2 doors down came onto my drive a few years ago threatening to smash my car up with a hammer, i was only about 19 and he's in his late 30's....... so i took a dump on his doorstep that night :thumb:

Ringing 43 separate scrap yards, looking for a mk3/4 Escort, to no avail.
The last one I rang had an X reg mk3 in.

I drove down, which is about an 80 mile round trip, to find some two-bit, backwoods garage with about 4 cars around the back. The only Escort?
A ****ing '97 R reg mk6.

The senile old **** who I spoke to on the phone even went outside to check for me when I was on the phone. That's when he said it was 'an old X reg'.

I had a breaker bar in the boot, along with many other tools, and due to their ignorance and bare-faced lying, I could have quite easily windmilled the three of them this morning. lol

Yep, his kids were stood in his front garden the whole time, great example to set your kids I thought afterwards
