Well i saw it raise a bit on the motorway, but took it it as just air in the system.
But seeing it and just under the red worried me, so i switched off and coasted thru the town and then down my road and on to the drive... Just in case.

Right, couldn't be welded, chemical metal wouldn't stick.. Tried a ac repairing kit where you metal alloy on to it. All it's done is make the hole bigger.
So new rad on order...
Question is... Do i just fit it and use the car a bit more... Or see it as that's the first step.. Fit the F28 repaint the bay and rebuild the engine..
Do it in a oner Benn.............. That way it'll all be done and finished for the new season and the better weather. ;)Quote:

Depends mate on your circumstances, If it were me in my current circumstance I'd drive it around for a bit more with the new rad and then do some upgrades at a better time.
You using a custom alloy rad or standard type? You can get Valeo standard GTE/GSi rad for £35 all in.
