On the plus side, at least you noticed it before any engine damage ocurred though:thumb:

Is that one of them Auto TX alloy ones? Will the weld hold though, hope so, also have you tried to move it forward slightly to give more clearance?

I repaired my rad core with JB Weld and it's been spot on, so I reckon proper TIG will be fine.

Hope you get it sorted without too much expense Ben. Lucky catch on that one mate! Keep looking after one of my top 3 Nova's for me until I buy it. lol

Yes its a TX one, cant see why the weld couldn't hold. Tigging up ally normally sticks like glue. Sadly i cant move it for ward any more. There's no room. But i'll have to maybe try and angel it for a lil more clearance. But with the hose and fitting turned to the side it clears it ok, just doesn't look as tidy.

My mate has a kit to do it he used on his AC rad. Was thinking about using that. But if i can get it propally done then i might as well try..

As said it got rather warm, but wasn't in the red so it should be fine. Annoying that i had to dump new coolant..lol Dont worry i'm looking after it.

Good thing you noticed it early Benn, would have made things a lot worse if you were driving it and it lost all the coolant.

What hose was rubbing, water hose coming from / to the turbo ? Just rotate the center housing on the turbo round a few degrees so it clears the rad.

The the water hose on the front of the turbo, i want the hose hidden as much ass poss so had it sitting more upright, which is when it was touching. Moved it now and its ok, clears the rad and still hidden well.

Not good. Repair should see it good as new though. These things are sent to try us!!!
