Good update mate.
Whats diff with the GTE?
Bird in blue top :D
Cheers Jay,
Craig yes its the lady...
Kid, niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Loads of inagination as always. Battery is going in the rear then? Does that afm cable need to be that long?
Yeah battreys going in the boot just to give a bit more room up front.
If the afm wiring was in the bay no, but as mine runs down the inside of the arch then out by the tie bar mount, yeah its needs to be made longer.
This way you wont see it at all.

The union that goes into the "IN" of the bias valve is the wrong way round.
Also use thread lock on it and nip it up tight in a vice - PS thanks for the wiper motor :)
Doesnt fit the other way Si, its a 1/8 thread, which is the side of the threded hole in the bias (yank made) the other end is m10 for the english.
Looking good Benn, as for the rad, iv got one of these,

Nice work fella :)
stunning work:eek:
Got a bit more done today, but again its all little stuff.
Plumbed in the amal vavle and pluged it in. Need a few meters of small silcon tubing to run for the boost and pressure lines and such tho.
Runt he wiring loom and got it P-cliped in to place, not 100%happy where they run tho, but i need bigger P-clips. So it will be redone.

Finished off the inlet, got the rail built up and on, loom on. Just need to workout where all the small pipes go to.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7702.jpg
Even cleaned the dirt out of the grooves..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7703.jpg
Gave the thermostat a buff overand got that fitted.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7705.jpg
Doesnt look as nice here as it does in the flesh.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7709.jpg
Gave this a light coat of lacquar as they are a low qual ally so oxid up fast.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7711.jpg
With that fitted i could get the turbo in place..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7713.jpg
Now i can see where the inlet needs to be cut to, can work out the water and breath pipes too.
Been looking at them Edd, just dont have 140 to spunk at the mo..Quote:

Got them, had them ages. Cheers tho.
Christ, all this over a few wires.
Cracked on to day, got the coilovers back on after a clean, hubs on, shafts in with new cvs boots and all bolted on.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7716.jpg
The pass side has a new braided line too, the drivers one just been cleaned up.
Drivers side all built up.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7724.jpg
Got the dizzy built back up and all fitted.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7723.jpg
While i was doing that Dan carried on doing wiring. Using the connector i bought, the battrey wiring comes stright to it, with a starter and alt take off and the ecu 12v. Very nice.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IMG_7718.jpg
Dan then carried on with the loom on the inside and got everything connected up beautifully.

I've putting allthe pipe work i have out to start working out ic pipes, but i need to get the i/c welded first so thats my first job tomoz.
Worked out where my turbo inlet needs to be cut so thats going to the same guy too.
And we found the end of the wire to the OE oil pressure and light, Dan worked a bit of wiring magic and thats not all working. So we powe and a ecu it should start.
Got the fuel lines on and connected, found a need a small one way vavle for the small rocker cover breather.
Doesnt seam like much, but..
Great work Benn :)
Cheers Keith.
Coming on well mate, that wiring looks like a ball ache though.
Chhers Jim, it was worse, this is why the dash came out so it could all be tidied up and made neater. Lots more room to work as well. Everything now runs in with the normal loom now, ecu light and temp wiring in with the clocks loom.
Top job :thumb:
Lucky Dan did it, hes better at it. Has done a great job. Makes everything nicer.
Looks sweet mate nice work
Sexy dude!
I think he likes you Benn ;)Quote:

Wow, excellent progress Benn, so you'll have no wiring in the bay then?
Nope, well i tiny bit.
You'll see the plug for the dizzy and the lamdba but they will be very neatly run and hidden as much as poss.
Excellent! Can't wait to see this! (will have to be billing i'm afraid) So the wiring in the o/s arch is for lights etc?Quote:

O/s is afm, crack, and cts and temp.
n/s is light loom.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Benn again. :( :thumb:
lol, adding to that, Air breathers on the o/s, and water pipes on the n/s.
Looking great Benn.
Cheers Ad.
Even better! All water hoses hidden too!
