I do need a roof vent, it's like a sauna in the summer

Hiddious shameful scoop, vomited in my mouth twice then sharted due to cringing to hard
I had a fiberglass replica scoop like that bonded up from the underside many moons ago. Function wise yes a good move but (me being me now) buying two, cutting & bonding for a wider equal width could cause gasps!
Scoop looks like, should ram nice cold air in.
I like that it's offset, makes people realise what a piece of shit it is!!!
Have you not thought about a massive fuck off rear wing to push back end down
I like it... though body colour would improve it...
Be aware though, they dont tend to push that much air into the bodies at that location due to the air pressure. The main reason I have one is to allow hot air to escape from the engine bay when stationary..
Paul..
Protec do a cold air feed that picks up air from the leading edge of the bonnet...

Paul..
Not for £550!!! Hahahaa
If it was me the cowling would be attached to the bodies and up and out of the skuttle panel
The scuttle is fairly low pressure, but fresh and cold so could be a winner if you aren't trying to fanny about with ram air
Ram air..... Derbyshires latest airline taking you away from the horrors of northern life to excellent destinations such as Baghdad, Aleppo and a gulag in Siberia
Vent works!! Loads of air moving around the bay, at 40mph I could feel significant amounts air blowing around my legs, with the vent taped over (very scientificly) that breeze was virtually non existent.
Just to clarify I have a hole that my clutch cable passes through, this is where the air comes through into the cabin, I have just ordered some bungs to fill said hole, something I haven't got round to until now.
Proper test results once the new air temp sensor is fitted.

New discs bolted to some bells borrowed from a friend until he can manufacture me some proper ones

Calipers are back, hopefully they'll be with me next weekend then I just need to fit them!! Oh and buy some wheels that will fit over them!!
Oooooooooooooooooo that's a very nice looking brake set up.
Using your ballsack would be better than lospecs
i think everyone i've seen says the Alcon are one of the best.
Hispec seem to be a aesthetic mod from what people say. Hopefully your new ones work well. that way I won't die on my passenger ride next month!
They looks the business, your front wheels will disappear under the car when you stamp on them lol
Well, this is a progressive build after all, I mean it's not like I bought 5 sets of brakes before deciding on the Alcons!!
Boom fitted

They fit under the Cromodoras with space to spare but I've had to remove the wheel weights!!! Have to see how that feels.
Feel pretty good on the pads Mintex F4R's that came with them.
Wondering if I now need some stiffer front springs to counter the dive.
Stiffen the Damping a touch as opposed to messing with the springs.
you do need a bit of dive to load the tyres up to get better traction for slowing
Paint the big alcon bit on the calipers black :D
Should be good; going for an aggressive pad?
If youve got F4Rs then bed them in properly and they will be mint :-)
Paul..
The F4R's feel good on the road but that's not really transferable to track. I'm going to order some CL6 endurance to have with me aswell, always good to have a proven pads in the toolbox just incase!!
Off to Ibiza tomorrow then rockingham on the 13th with Iain. Should be fun!!
Must find some wheels!!

Wheels ordered, hoping they arrive Thursday so I can get the tyres on and ready for Wockingham with TSV.
Was hoping for a 4 wheel align before then too but not sure I'll get one, might just add 1.5 degrees of rear camber with the spacers and see how it fairs.
that are some very nice wheels! what size did you order?
15x7j ET38 which is close to the Cromodoras I'm running now which are 15x7j ET37.
Spoke to the wheel place today they won't be shipped til mid next week, so it looks like it'll be Cromodoras on the front and Cesaros on the rear!!! Can't use the outside wheel weights with the Cromodoras as they foul the calipers so wobbly dobbler will be the name of the game
