I fitted the cheap pattern one from the bay, was well oiled but lasted a few weeks before snapping. Got a used gm one and it's still going strong.
sod all :(
Got ma new karcher pressure washer today. :)
Iain
Insignia washer jets landed today for the disastra, cant fit them yet as i need to ask Joff very nicely if i can borrow his wiper arm puller, stupid astra's and not having the same type of arms as everything else, that you can just wiggle off lol
Spud, you can lift the plastic scuttle panel up enough to get your hand in and remove the old jet and fit the new ones, that's how I done my Astra and my brothers Astra mk4 coupe, but then again I do have tiny hands flol
The one that just landed from the bay is a 'First Line' one, same as we supply at work funnily enough, is there nothing you can do about it then?
Ive got some bearing grease for my bike thats reeaaallllyyyy light, im going to slap a load of that on the new one and swap them at weekend if its nice weather, see if that makes fix :d
I had to do that before i found out you need a puller for the wiper arms when we fitted my new (secondhand) wiper motor, ive got big hands and tore them to shreds fitting that
back from the post office with this little lot

:)
tj, they have independant motor factors in derby...... with the money you'd save from the postage, you'd have been able to buy a new nova....
re the speedo cables...
oil is nearly as bad as wd40 on one, as they drain down. a light grease, like png's favourite, vaseline would be a decent idea, but don't ram tons of it onto the cable, just smear a bit on it & them hand turn it. any resistance & it will not last long
Got my pool balls today, thankyou scott!
I use SDL a lot, and yes it's a walk in place.
will keep them in mind next buying spree then cheers mate

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to turbojolt again.
I'm going to be my own courier/postal service. Off to Newcastle this evening to pick up my new bumper. Normally I'd just send a courier but it's a bit to fragile to trust them with.

/\ you bought that nova?
Just see new bumper lol
Has that shell got a sunroof?
It's a non sunroof model. He's breaking car. It's up on ebay at the moment. If I didn't already have an early Mk1 in Silver on Astra fan blades I'd have had the whole car. It's got a C20XE on 45's fitted but the blocks cracked I believe. He offered me the whole car for about a grand.
Bargain at that price, she'll looks mint,
Shame its so god dam far haha,
iirc the bloke that built the cosworth 4x4 built it
Season ticket :)
