Should be out on this today just trying to find somewhere to blast off my crank bolt so i can drop it out and drop the head and block off to the machine shop.

looks like the front skin of your crossmember has seen better days :(

not at the moment edd its extra money ive not got, and im thinking about cutting the middle right out anyway for the intercooler and welding in some box steel

whats the plan then ? fitted the plating kit and have the bay painted ?

well today im trying to get somewhere to blast of the crank bolt so i can take the oil pump off and strip the block for the machine shop,

Then off to get some metal and hopefully pick up the welder tonight,

So then tomorrows plans will be plate, cut for intercooler and paint only hairy arseholing it thou for now i think

Now all i need to order for the engine is an oil pump seal, water pump and piston rings,

Also can i reuse the crank bolts or shall i just get Gm ones? not getting arps for the crank as thats £100 odd i cant afford

Ive cut out as much as i can for the moment, Popped up to B&Q for some box steel, and im hopefully picking up a welder tonight so can get cracking tomorrow,

Seeing as i couldnt cut anymore off the car i cut the bumper backer so that i can fit the intercooler behind the bumper rather than hanging off the front
