I am getting it to it Ian i'm funking loving it, the cav rack isn't much more to look at than the nova item (pics to follow)
Although your idea sounds good its 10x the effort and with it being fixed it would be fine when sitting in the seat but getting in and out might be an issue even with a snap off boss as the column would be gunning for your chest!

Hi every one a session was had again tonight....

Started off By finishing off little bits and bobs in the engine bay like seams i had missed and areas that needed priming etc.
I had left the very last of the bulk head right in the corners for some unknown reason but the were PI$$ING me off so i had them out as well

Fecking PITA spot welds!!

Then went on to finish the stitching under the front arches. The seams were then primed.

After i had all the little bits sorted i decided to 'get it on' with the seam sealer to make sure the freshly stitched seams wouldn't get any more ****e in them, not the neates job but it will do it is a track car.

Nice work mate, Ive lowered the Nova column on my car this year, and extended the pedals a bit, feels so much better!! Your not as short as me tho so wont be such a massive difference to you, but to me its great!!
Liking the Cav column idea, liking the name too, all the best cars are made by a 'developments'!!
