Wow what a project, just read throug from start to finish.
I have just dragged my nova project back out, nothing like as indepth as yours. Huge respect for cutting it apart like that not sure I would dare tbh.
Will look forward to checking on this one over the next year!

Not even been within 10 miles of it! Just been too busy, got guests staying at the mo.
Been offered a 3ltr V6 cheap. What do you think? Is the bellhousing the same as on an xe block ie will my adapter still fit? What about clutch sizes compared to XE? Hmmmm.....
Take the V6 and sell me the LET for a handful of magic beans lol
I've not got a LET! lol
Yeah you can bolt a F16/F20 etc onto the V6's aslong as you remove the oversize flywheel for a flat type, clutch etc same is same as xe also iirc.

Keep the XE! We want to see more porgress, less chat :)
Fit XE, crash it, fit V6
v6 ftw! Few tweeks for the additional power, then turbo it!:thumb:
V6! why? there **** for what they are, you would expect them to be good for a 2.5,or bigger, but they really are not worth the bother..
they sound awesome tho
if your going to fit a v6 you might aswell get the extra 2 cylinders and beat Rj to fitting a v8, well beat lee lol
agreed V8 FTMFWQuote:

V6 would look and sound cool but tbh be a waste of money & effort. The XE is better for track and has better tuning potential. Will also be easier to switch to a LET.
thats the spirit :thumb: :wisewood:
yes it fits, you do realise that let pistons fit the 3.0 meaning you can fit a big turbo????? or supercharger??????:dQuote:

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.
TOO MUCH EPIC!!!lol
