No engine yet, No dash yet, and no topmounts yet. So I commisioned a spare set of topmounts for the meantime because the garage was in bad need of a cleanout.
So I fitted the front coilovers, tie bars, knuckles etc and rolled the car out of the garage
Coilovers, and lovely shiney paint!

Hopefully i'll eventually get my Dash back, the interior will be early June, and the engine shouldnt be much longer.
Until the next update!

You're missing a bolt in that caliper :).
Keith,
Dont know how you manage to keep your inspiration up with the setbacks youve had, take my hat off to you!
Great work as ever.
not fond of the boot mate, at all :(
but the rest of the car is absolutely stunning, glad to see her coming back together so well!
That colour really does look fantastic in the light. What size of rear springs are they? 80mm?
Looks absolute minted as said on RMS
Keep it up mate :)
No its not, its a chromed bolt and the reflection is throwing you.Quote:

I really needed to get some photos of the colour in Natural Light. The flash from the camera on the garage pic's never looks right.Quote:

lol, I honestly think i'll find it hard to top that trip. Even with my engine failure I still loved it!
Were going out last weekend in august if you fancy it?
Well, the bad luck continues.
Before anyone asks, yes, the engine still is not sorted.
I left the engine to get sorted in december, and got a new block sourced in januraryish. However with a heavy workload, the block only got sent to get bored over easter. The machist has some problems with his equipment etc etc, but when he finally got to my block, he's discovered that cylinder 4 needs bored to 87mm to be anygood to me.
Now my pistons are 86.5mm (.5mm over standard) and therefore if i keep this block, i'll need 4 new pistons. Or I need to source yet another block which will bore to 86.5mm safely :(
So i'm at my witt's end at the moment, i'm fed up of delays and fed up with the whole car. It looks like i'm not going to have it ready for any show's at all this year with all the cockups, so much for the 25th aniversery of the Nova. :(
I've a few good friends looking out for a good block now, hopefully i'll sort something soon.
Keith
Theres a LET block on eBay right now.
On the other hand, its only a car show, its not really life or death TBH.
Yeah but I've aimed to have the car ready for PV, Billing and Trax, And at the moment only trax is looking likely. It may just have to do tho.Quote:
