Super clean engine bay on any car is the way forward. Like it.
Engine bay looks absolutely gorgeous! Ill buy the 16se bottom end if you decide to sell it ;)
Looks fantastic, can't wait to see this in person at some point :)
The airbox fits in nicely Edd, I suspect you'll actually have smoother running now as well, great job ;)
Looks stuning as usual Edd, can't wait to see it again.
Are you not using the poly spring seats with the new strut top cups?

Don't think I'll go PVS, didn't like it much last time I went, that was a long time ago tho lol
Also I don't think it's clean enough yet to show off lol
Cheers mate, it already starts better with the box, hopefully drive better
Cheers and I do want to get rid of the bottom end at some point....
Thanks very much
Cheers Rich, the spring caps have the step for the end of the spring to sit in
I'm a little dubious about them tbh, any noise or problem they'll come straight off and I'll have a rethink
Superb work Ed, have a holiday in London, stay as long as you like, you can tidy mine. :)
Bring yours to me one weekend Jeff i'd help ya
Awesome work as usual. Love all the oem stuff but also how your not afraid to stick some cool aftermarket bits on like the silicone pipework!
Got sent this pic earlier
Looks fcuking epic IMO
Got me thinking alsorts lol I know it's a 2.0L engine with the inlet but would love my 1300 turbo set up to look as good as that

Looks awesome, got to be a Euro car.
Epic indeed! Edds going big block woop woop! lol
Nick.
Wtf is with them funny bots on the rocker?
Other then that it's nice.
Would like a 1.6 or 2.0 8v for my hatch, but can't find one cheap enough
One of my fave engine bays, bit impractical though...

1300 turbo dont lose the faith!
Edd i think that inlet would clear the bulkhead.
Stunning car mate, well done :)
I haven't at all mate :) will deffo be doing the 1300 turbo
It might mate, but I won't do big block
I just liked the look of it colour wise etc, just need to decide what to do with mine
Cheers mate, thanks, I'm not 100% happy with it yet tho
How come? 1300 turbo is a good idea, should be good fun!
There's always room for improvement
No actual work been done lol but a update...
This morning I met Jeffrey and Neik in Bristol, real nice chaps, and I can't tank them enough for brings the parts over, these guys should have some sort award for doing these trips
Oh and the waffles are awesome lol
Got this, bronze tinted tailgate glass WITHOUT the heating elements
http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/r...S/DSC_0215.jpg
Lucky to get hold of it, OCP got it in few weeks ago, never seen another, going to look great with the Zender rear spoiler
Also got a new bonnet as a spare lol

I do have the car booked for paint on the 22nd of next month, which will leave me a week after honeymoon to get it MOT 'd
Looking forward to driving it again, been too long
Oooo nice buy on the glass, that should look very cool.
Awesome, i'm really fond of this Sport, love all the things your doing to make it different :)
I thought they always had the non heated bronze in stock, just no good if its a winter car!!
Jeffrey told me they had not long got it in and was the last, maybe they had/got more I'm not completely sure, either way I'm happy it made it here
The car is allergic to winter/damp conditions so heated rear screen ain't needed
Haha to be honest mine is so old and damaged that its just like a non heated one. Already had the snow/frost test and it failed.
More stuff turning up now I've finished paying for wedding
Got these other day

Full set of new genuine mudflaps as I wasn't happy with the used ones
New wheels ordered, I'm all up for trying something different but I want wider tyres and wheels that fit properly tbh so have admitted defeat with them
Bodywork booked in
R5 GT T2 turbocharger bought
Tubular manifold being sorted
Few weeks it be back on the road all being well with more updates
Nice, I saw them mudflaps, I didn't go for them as there none nova ones, plus I've seen Opel Classic Parts sell the correct ones and there cheap.
Look forward to seeing the updates with the turbo setup.
Need to sort out rebuilding the low comp 1300 bottom end, that's the next main job for the conversion
I'd like to have all the bits sorted over next few months
Can you spill the beans on what you are going for wheel wise? Any plans to bring it out to a show this year?
Good work Edd, I personally never liked the old wheels, hope the new ones are a motor sport derivative, keep the updates coming
Shame your changing the wheels, but undedstandable.
The new wheels are GM, will be painted white with the bodywork to match
I know the wheels on ATM make it stand out but with the 175/50 tyres with 6J I have no confidence to drive to hard
Plus the camber shims on the rear make the rear feel very un nova like so it's all got to go
Zero point in sacrificing handling for looks IMO
