good to see it on the jig ste
thought a few pics like that may give you some inspiration as i see your now changing yours a little mate
Good Work Ste, how much do you reckon it'll weigh?
Its no heavier than a normal shell at the min theres a vid further back somewhere of me picking the shell up chest height with plyers!
Looking fantastic Ste! Can't wait to see this finished.
ste, would it be worth putting in some links between either side of the tunnel, i know it might be a pain to get a prop in & out, but i think it would help massively with torsional rigidity.
theres already some there mowgli one at the back of the tunnel and the engine mount at the front
i saw that, but i still thought a couple of tubes in the middle would make it a lot stronger.

well i suppose thats the speedlines and gsi kit ruled out then ! lol
Looks great top work chap!
Coming together nicely now Ste.
great project mate will be 1 fast beast
nice work there fella. tidy bit of welding.
good read and pics too ste,as said fabrication is awsome, and fair play to you for keeping it going,
gonna be some machine when its all built up
Any updates On this Ste?
updates soon!!!
Can't want to see more of this,
Thought this had gone scrappers, you've not been about in a while,
lately mate found it had to find time to scratch my own **** let alone anything else but things slowing down again now so the workshop personal projects will start speeding up again
Glad to hear it and looking forward to the updates :)
Ste noticed the other day that you said your moving units, what ever happened to this project
Bazza on here is currently doing a 4x4 with the cally turbo setup so I thought this project would be a good read for him.
Hope you're keeping well Ste ;)
Cheers for the link to this southie.
I've got about half way through this thread so far and it's given me lots of ideas. I love what's been done to the floor and tunnel. Top work!
work is going to continue after christmas just to let those that think this has been scraped aware lol
You set the bench mark in the title Steve so it "must get done"
Looking forward to the updates :)
it will its just my life has gone through so many changes and had so much going on its just been shoved in the corner and shelved. i got a nova turbo in for a rebuild at the min and its made me nostalgic so as soon as thats gone and my cav t back on the road im going to dust this off and crack on
To see a build through to the end is more of a challenge than it initially seems as we all find out.
Great to see the nova flame still burning in the background - I am sure we will see some updates in the near future!
just noticed all my pics have vanished?
You must have removed photos to another folder which may have broken the links?
Photobucket mate but got a feeling the ones that have vanished were hosted on fb
Better get repairing all those links then so we can have another read ;)
..... so Ste did you ever finish this as I was enjoying your build, I know you've been busy with your company but I'd love to see your skills again with an update as this was going to be finished ages ago originally lol
its currently under a cover where its been for a while as i have been building novas cavs volvos vectras and alsorts but best of all collecting parts. soon i promise
Any news on this Steve?
Did this ever get finished?
