Car cover and in the garage? Are you really Keith Robinson!?lol
Personally I would of stuck with the harder compound as their mega soft anyway.
Make sure you get the pressures sorted when you test the car as they will go off in a few laps if their not right.
they are mainly for the 1/4 mile and the handling course at totb mate i have another set of medium compound for the track day on the 21st august :thumb:Quote:

Watch for how their wearing, they will wear the centres out in a few laps if the pressure is too high so better to start low and work up, not the other way round.
Yeah cheers mate
did a bit on the nova today

heat wrapped the down pipe

then i heat wrapped the header tank ( to try and illuminate heat soak)and moved the air filter back into position

then i continued with the heat control, i wondered with the charegcooler being bolted to the engine if it was picking up any heat i attached some more fireproof matting see if it makes a difference :) charge temps are fine but cooler is always better just an experiment at the moment

No nuggets of knowledge from Pete then re the stupid terminal speeds?
no nothing yet, will need more power to compete with the tigras running 11's but its not a bad start for first runs in the car!!! the tigras have 100-180 bhp more than the nova) but the car is not all about 1/4 mile
the 3 tigras and suttons corsa are built for one thing 1/4 they all run much much bigger turbos (gt35r's) than me also, but if i had a decent 60 ft time i wouldve been low low 12's whihc is very good2.9 60 ft is very poor its quicker to walk :P
12.7 is no slouch tbhi dont wanna chnage to much on the car as it drives so well on the road, maybe try winding the boost up abit higher up the range will have a word with mapping guru dave today see what he thinks
the actuator on the turbo is removed and being refurbed due to a torn diaphram hopefully that will arrive today and get it back on the car!!!
after rebuilding the actuator with new 20psi spring, checking the turbo penny valve, all boost hoses, and replacing a missing bolt on the manifold
went for a drive to see my mate in neath and dia few pulls now its all back together all seems well so far, these logs were done on the road so unable to hold it flat out for any great deal of time due to traffic etc but its holding 1.5bar or just over
but it seems to go alot better now, going to get it to hold 1.8 at totb it was holding 1.1bar :cry::cry:
