he's going down in height, so either winding it down or shorter springs will achieve that, or he'll try a seperate spring/shock setup with a reasonably well "known" drop although that last bit I don't quite get as he can have 3 guesses with coilover springs before it gets more expensive than customs!Quote:

Both of you are right.
Benn, Mk means if i leave the adjusters where they are it wont matter, a shorter spring will just make the car sit lower than it does now, just due to the spring length....
But yes if i fit new platforms and shorter springs i will be able wind the adjuster up above the thread damage........
Oh and 200lb aint really soft tbh, standard avo are 175, and thats for an interior'd nova, theres NO weight at all in my rear end, and it currently handles v.v well on these springs. I do have some 7" springs spare, but they are 420lb rate!!!!!!

About your side strips, I know there's 4 years between the reg's (B vs F) , but would it not be the sames as Oli H's?, if so they're just stuck on with the usual GM double-sided gunk:
