yeah if you grind em back you'll just have a little round mark to touch up. Nobby is corect though, they are actually rivets. if you grind too far the other end of the rivet will drop out and leave a hole.

If i can free off the adjusters then i dont want/need new springs..... I'll just drop them right down...
If i cant free the adjusters then i'll just buy some shorter springs and leave the adjusters where they are.
dont build 'em like they used to..
feel you pain on the coilovers; had that issues couple of years back myself.. all new bits in the end..
Mine started to stick with a light wipe of copper slip. Used my oil filter removal pillars to get them off, then slapped copper slip on the insides the the adjuster, now they are free to move every time.
I will see what i can do. Hopefully i can free them off because i dont really want new springs.......
No, you can free them off. Leave them in to soak over night.
Will give it a go :)
I ended up using a hacksaw to get the adjustors off my old Avo's. Just cut through them to roughly where the thread is on the body and then when you try and turn the adjustor with something it will just open up and snap off.
If its anything like mine you will be left with the thread off the adjustor on the threads on the coilover body and they just scrape out with a screwdriver.
THats my last option :(
I got satisfaction from cutting them as they were the worst thing I ever bought for my car, even worse than the LET
