All taken at todays Heritage Centre Open Day.
Wifes VERY happy with it (i've not driven it yet).
Had a brap about in a 911 Turbo this morning. Not a slow car lol
You have to love the 911 turbo sounds
first day back at work done and dusted, only alowed to do 4 hours right now, which is a shame as my work computer was broken for near 2 of them lol
felt good to be away from the house doing something again :)
Having research fall in my lap... found an SAE journal which is a basic outline/guide of how to do my final year project/dissertation, and this months racecar engineering has some decent info on modelling for it, as well as some aero stuff that will be awesome for a group presentation I'm due to start on tomorrow :d
Watching the rear running gear fall off Bernie Finemans MG BGT. lol
leepu's mate??? explain please
Yeah. http://www.channel5.com/shows/classic-car-rescue
I wish Leepu was still around. Stomach churning hilarity on (usually) 4 wheels.
Leepu beats mario
Did you see the first one where they painted the E-type, then dinged it reversing out of the spray booth, the painter looked like he was going to kill him
I dunno mate, im hoping my dad had recorded it for me as im at my sisters at the mo and forgot, the jag was the first one, the guy had stayed up all night painting it, and as mario backed it out of the booth he managed to twang the back lower valance on a six pot lump that just 'happened' to be sat there doing nowt in the middle of the floor lol
ROFL
*Cue Bernie effing and blinding* I need to see that ep then.
I laughed at him twisiting about Mario touching the Porsches bodged up headlight wiring as it was highly complex?! Then Bernie had to get an auto electrician in - corroded terminals at fault.
Not got a multimeter slap heed? lol
Lol, bugs me though, the way the cars minutes out of the booth and theyre leaning on, and rubbing up the fresh paint  errr wtf ya set a puddins, pack it in lol
I cant stand it when you say something's been resprayed and someone has to touch it
Makes you want to give them an Archie slap when they cover and touch fresh paint dont it lol
What about on the 911 the poofter running to tell them it was a cut in shut
Seen the e type episode when it was on. Major lolz at the idiot smacking it off the engine ( all for tv I imagine ). Looked good up until the 1990s sunroof was spotted.... Mess. Seen the last 2 minutes of the 911 episode , looked really horrible with that silly bumper and RAC paint.
Limp - I you have an Xbox there is a 5 on demand thing on it, or I'd assume its on the interwebz somewhere too.
Edit- http://www.channel5.com/demand5
That be the shagwarrr aswell lol ^^^
Lol see edit ^ .
At least they don't spray with rattle cans like Edd China's Capri !
Not a bad show, Beetle Crisis on Quest isn't bad either. ( a lot less 'for tv' bullshlt in it )
When Edd and Mike were buying and *cough* restoring on a grand, there was some quality bodging. I remember the Capri. Edd blaming the heat for ruining the lacquer. Love the lass that bought it mind. I surely would...
Beetle and Campervan Crisis are good I agree, only one of the two Beetles is though. That 70's 1302? thing they barry up just makes me laugh.
I also thought the Splitty was named 'Dipsy' because it had been to Keith Robinsons favourite company, didn't think it would have been on the reg. (Hadn't seen the prog at this point)
I recorded another car thing on Nat Geo tonight, something where two teams in the UK break a car and sell the parts lol Scoobies/Evo's etc so may be half decent.
[TY for edit BTW!]
