I'm guessing he will use these tyres when not attacking tracks, i.e everyday driving. Therefore saving the good (and more to the point expensive!) track tyres.

Yeah i know mate, but I'm just thinking say he forgets for a sec and meets some guy in an M3 at some lights, goes to boot it and then realise's he's got balloons for tires lol (can just see them expanding like on drag cars!) lol
lol or the alloys turning inside the tyres  lol
Think it needs silver gte rims...lol
cheers for the coments and as for grip they grip like a ******* which suprised me lol.
Benn
I know i know ive got to get to yours and pick them up lol. x x
Yeah until they get mildly warm then they will disintegrate and will simultaniously explode.Quote:

Also whenever it has gone to any meets or done any distance it has been on the ceseros not these.
that will be a first :DQuote:

They are hurrican grey with 195/45/15's so much better for playing on than these.
Im picking them up once i feel a bit better.
ive not got much of an update apart from i did a nut/bolt check today and fitted some new plugs.
Alls well apart from the passenger side shaft still keeps popping out so will have to keep an eye on it.
Im only out once on saturday so should be ok.
Also i took it for a little run today and bung some v/max in ready.
Its the first time ive driven it in over 2 weeks and omg i forgot what an animal it is.
see you all on saturday.
I think ive pixed the drive shaft problem today.
For some reason it kept moving only by a mm or two but it was enough to make it leak gearbox oil.
So today i took the passenger side shaft out and noticed that there was a few little dents in the little circlip so i removed one from another shaft and fitted it.
Ive got the car back on all four and and moved the shaft but it hasnt leaked.
Ive put some cardboard under the car for tonight.
I expect to get a few drips from what wasnt cleaned off but not a huge puddle as before.
Tomorrow is another day tho.
See you at combe.
Good man, i'm open for a pass ride... ;)
Im only out once mate unless there are any free t/v ones about.
If i get any from Dougie i will let you know mate.
Ah ok.
Well after its trip out yesterday ive got a few bits to sort out.
1) put oil back in. (Cheers stu)
2) clean the engine bay after the dip stick came out on the second run.
I will get some pic's up later of before and after.
Had a good day and the best bit was chassing down and passing a so called 600bhp evo.
It was fun.
Some pics of before and after its engine bay clean up.
I think this could of been the reason for the smoke from the passenger front wheel as it was caked in oil.
It still went fine tho lol.

bloody hell mate thats gone everywhere, you will need plenty of elbow grease to clean it all up,good to see the photos of you at combe tho,my mate was there in a blue m3 he got blacked flagged as his wheel looked like it was gonna fall off heres a pick of his wheel
http://uploads.turbosport.co.uk/getr...9/5897281f.jpg

nah mate havent got anymore pics got the picture off the turbosport forum,i spoke to him earlier he thought it was the tyres just rubbing on the arch, plus his mates where phoning him while he was on the track,he couldnt belive it when he came off,but luckerly no one was hurt
What was it in the end ?
he said its the rear trailing arm was bent,he said when they took the wheel off the trailing arm looked like it has been heated up and bashed about abit to look straight plus it has been painted,so it looks like someone done abit of bodgery on it,he has got a spear rear beam so.it will be back out shortly
cool good good.

Cheers Gary
Its nice to have it going well.
Shame about the yellow beast but sure it will all come together soon.
Now go get yours sorted and go have a play on track.
Try a new dipstick from Vaux, bout £30ish sometimes the rubber can perish a bit?Quote:
