Nova Turbo progress

No fluid leaks at all. Friction plate has crossed my mind but thought once it was clamped tight by the cover plate that was it?

Hmm have you got any pics of it at all prior to refitting?

No, just got on with it to be honest. Everything was thoroughly cleaned and dried though. Cover plate was brand new still in sealed bag etc.

slips when it first comes on boost for a second or so. Still running Amal valve so get the initial boost spike/overboost.

So you only bought a pressure plate?

yes as the other one had only done 500 miles so friction plate was like new.

My thought were that it might need bedding in at first
