Had a right **** fitting the wings on saturday. I was going to leave them off and fit them after painting but i had to fettle them a bit to make them fit, plus i want to seal them up to stop the corrosion.

Had to put a couple of skims in as the wings are pattern and were an ar*e to get fitting right !

As im going away on holiday on tuesday i wanted to get all the bit of out the work shop, so i chucked them all on the car.

The end is in sight !

Still having an **** with the seat subframes. Thought i would buy 2 new ones for ?40, which i think is expensive but i was getting sick of not being able to fit both seats.

Any way this is the gap on the passengers seat frame to body:

Its got loads of room and travels forwards and backwards without fowling. http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/nod.gif

On the other hand the drivers side frames does not fit. Thge runners fowls here (see the scrathes !):

Its like the frame need to be moved an inch or so. Plus the new frame id bent aswell so that wont help !

Any ideas whats wrong ? Its a standerd nova mk2 sr seat frame so im told so it should fit.

C'MON people, i need help to sort this out !!!

Can I suggest buying the proper Corbeau subframes to fit them - my Forzas went in with relative ease and only minor fettling and slide back and forth perfectly.

meh my buckets fitted perfect with SR subframes and Sparco sliders

OH, so you fit corbeau sliders to the sr frames !?! But still the sliders and frames from the standard car should not catch !

Does anyone know if all gte gsi sr sri etc etc of any age all have the same subframes ?

dont know mate, but if all else fails, you should get the corbeau tailored frames, got mine from demon tweeks, there dear but a perfect fit. top car by the way
