wow that place really that dark to work in???
make sure you manage to get yourself an SR lump in there - youll be more satisfied in the long run.
-
yep it was dark when i took the pics outside and i only had 2 lights on in the garage.. was heading out so didnt have them all on (one light switch is not at the door if you get what i mean)..
i think it will be a sr engine that goes in it.. might have to re-build my 1300 sr and shove that in.
i will keep you posted though.

looks good greg.. doesnt taking the engine in and out waste loads of time?
-
no not really as its not running anyway and i want to de-grease the new head and re-paint the engine and box again or just try and get it original but really clean.. also going to put new bolts and jubilee clips on etc and a few engine mods.
only take 2 hours to get an engine out on my own with a few tools. ha ha.

Looking good mate, should be nice all painted up and looking road worthy :)
Keep it up mate, if you ever need an extra pair of hands give me a shout

well last night i started by washing the engine bay, cleaned my washer bottle and expansion tank.. always help if they are clean. i also de-greased and cleaned up my new gsi servo and master cyliner (thanks rallyman) think thats his name on her anyway.lol
i also de-greased my drive shafts so they are ready to be panted and the coil has been rubbed down and i got rid of the horrible red paint and putting it black again.
i also took the choke cable out and extra cables and wires i didnt need. i am also going to try and hide the wiring loom as much as i possible can.
going to start on the track rod ends and painting the steering arms and bottom arms etc etc to freshen them up a little, might also start on the engine by stripping it.
no pics as yet.
