^ Drifting wagon! lol
Very tidy build mate. Whats the plans for tomorrow?
Plans for tomorrow is to just carry on with the rest of the painting. Got the rear arches to do, and a second coat on fronts, plus underside. Tedious job, but will be worth it I suppose.
Quicker I get that out the way I can then concentrate on bodywork prep for paint.
Iain: Cheers mate, yea im still at it! lol
nice one.. god it wa sthat long ago i looked at this thread that my user name was Novalicious(maybe thats why its not been updatin my subscrrbed threads)
keep it up
As promised went to the car today. Got a fair amount done. It feels like its getting somewhere again now!!
Got the front end built up again so as I could tip it over again. Then carried on seam sealing the rear half of the underside
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2174.jpg
Whilst waiting for that to dry I got the fuel nozzle pipe rubbed down and primered
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...DSCN2177-1.jpg
Then it was back to the car for the first coat of paint on the underside... Looks so much fresher now!! it went on quite well, but does need a second coat

Whilst painting it hammered it down, and some of the rain that blew under the cover had settled on the front arch I painted last time, You can see that it just sat in droplets and a wipe over with your hand and they just brushed off.... Well impressed with that as at least its not going to hold the muck and water like the standard underseal seems too
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2182.jpg
Then back on its wheels and bonnet hinges removed
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2184.jpg
Then I fancied a bit of detailing!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2185.jpg
Lathered some gunk degreaser around the bay and let it do its thing for 10 minutes
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2187.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2186.jpg
And a wash and rinse and dry later....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2188.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...a/DSCN2189.jpg
Then I gave the fuel pipe a coat of gloss black, but didnt get a pic. Needs another coat anyways!
Thats all for now!
