Yes, but I guess although the block & head are essentially the same, the X16 which is later type is somewhat more different in terms of ECU system & loom etc, plus it has all the EGR gubbins aswell which is ECU related.
Not quite as good an engine according to most people from a tuning point of view.
Well mine was an 8v that didn't use an AFM, just thought i'd clear that up
Dont know if im stating the obvious here, but he has a 16v 1600, not 8v....
8v without a afm, was a C16se

One morning last week me & a buddy pushed her out into the street & turned it around to manouvre back into the garage rear end first.

Headlamp was an ebay bargain at ?3 + ?5 for postage. Genuine Valeo unit.
I've got these new captive nuts from Vauxhall to mount the fuel pump assembly, same as whats used as std, just mine wewre well rusted & cut iut during the chassis leg repairs.

Also picked up various new nuts & bolts for the bottom arms (TCA's) & tie bar brackets.

Mainly small stuff like fuel system, gear linkage, bumpers, brake lines & other stuff I can't remember.
