And soon your shafts too :d
Been and done a bit more today, rolled one rear arch so far bit hard to get at the other side due to the car being at an angle but I'll do that soon.
I attacked one of the wings with some sandpaper, got a bit of it done which took forever so out came the nitromors

got all the old primer and paint off it but still some of the phosphate coat to come off, what a time consuming, painstaking job that is.
I'm considering removing the helper springs out the suspension too

That's an inch and a half raised and the helper spring is just getting compressed and the car hasn't raised much :(
Remove helpers. Is it rubbing the tyre too?!
It is yeah but the geometry is wrong at the minute, I wasn't sure if I should remove it as I'm under the impression leaving it in makes for a slightly more comfortable ride.
Could try something like this attachment for your wings?

In theory the helper should be fully compressed when the car is on the floor/the weight of the car is on the suspension.
I think I have one of them things somewhere I use for taking rust out.Quote:

Its prob settled, It wont make the ride any different, Just stop the spring being lose when jacked up sometimes. Looking at where the bolt is on the top hole id say its out the wrong way so if you was to set it right, it would make it rub like funk.
MSN :)
Yeah I need to play about with that bolt/oval hole to get it right.
In a bit.
ive got the same coilovers and i took out helper springs, ride was quite harsh but i didnt mind it tbh.
really liking the engine bay on this :thumb:
As long as it doesn't bottom out like my last Nova did I'll be happy lol it used to bottom out when there was two in the front :|Quote:
