Do you know if they are the same size? its just if its not it'll send a incorrect signal to the ecu! i'll have a look into those anyway :thumb:

Adam , if you think about it the air ging through the meter is at the same speed as the air going through the turbo (as long as the pipe is the same size diameter)

Just one will be pulled (vaccum side) and one will be boost side,... but from the AMM point of view its still air beeing pulled through in one direction.

that is correct but the hot wire ,is as suggested, heated up so when the air passes across it, it gets cooled down. the ecu then has to determine how much difference in resistance there is between how it normally reads and what it is now.

the point i was making before was that the signal will be between 0-5v. if it was placed before the IC then the air temps across it will be what they should be, after the IC they'll still be higher than the normal air temps. if he hadnt any other way of changing the fueling and was on standard managment then this would make the engine suffer. this being the air is cooler before the IC, meaning the wire would get cooler and show it needs more fuel as theres lots of air going through. after the IC the hot wire wont be cooling as much and might not produce enough fuel as its not showing its cooled down.

but this wont affect how he's doing things.
