Off with the old rear quarter today.

Cut along the B and C pillars, but lower than the repair panel so I've got some scope or trimming it perfectly:

Also realised while hacking out my brackets I would need something here for the seat rail. Here's where the handbrake sits (granted after quite a few clicks) which would hit the rail:

And welded on. Left the back open as otherwise things would fall in and be a pain to get out. Also welded a strip to the floor first to spread the load.

Currently waiting on a pair of seat subframes to arrive from Magnum Motorsport. Hopefully be the same as this one I've borrowed off Tom Reid:

These give more room for harnesses and slight adjustments in the seat position. Would like quite the seat rails in before the rear quarters are done as the quarters tend to collect dust and rubbish inside them.

All that's left is seat rails, fit rear quarter, remove and fit drivers quarter, then strip the underneath off and stonechip + paint!
