Me thinks i need some new front brakes, discs are scored and grooved to fook!!!
Onto the rears
The rear dampers on a mk4 are a proper simple design, just held on with two bolts! no pissing about rounding the piston flat off with some mole grips! lol
Original dampers, i touched the n/s and it fell in bits.. Lol

Removed, hmm, that may explain the knocking when going over roadhumps, bush is sha**ed!

The rear springs are soo long that i had to use spring compressors to remove them! Compare old to new, as you do
YES thats the REAR spring lol

Set the rears to fully down on the adjusters, and set the fronts to about an inch off the bottom of the thread, and let it down see how it sat.

I had to wind the fronts up because i couldnt turn the wheel at first without the tyre rubbing the arch liner lol
So settled with it being quite low, but still driveable. Will try and get some proper pics tomorrow.
Took it for a drive and im VERY happy with these "cheap" coilovers. Yes the ride is harder, but the springs are a higher poundage so no suprise, but it still handles great, but now looks well too!! :)
The knock over bumps has gone too! Two birds, one stone.....
Its still perfectly comfortable for a daily driver even with them set low, so im well pleased and would recommend them to anyone!! :) :) Awesome for £150!
Nice height, what happened to your wheels though ?
Plastic drop links :S
Howd you mean what happened?? LolQuote:

Hmm there very bland looking, don't give much of a contrast to the car - Silver would look very nice against the black bodywork
Looks much better! ?If i where you i'd get some metal drop links, the plastic ones wear out/break alot quicker when they are lowered.
looking well Adam :thumb:
wheels look good in grey, looks sutle :)
