I then realised why they were being difficult to remove, it seems the early chrome window surrounds have a bonding strip around the window hole. My mk2 ones didnt have this

Winter has taken its toll on the painted bits! Rocker cover etc has all oxidised and lifted the paint, oh well :(

Might need bring a 12v heater with me, for some reason these polycarbs seem to steam up a lot quicker than glass, and the cars heaters are pap and dont really help to clear the windows!!!!! Not what you want on track.
