Cut the lower half of the leg out for two reasons. one because there was a small bit of rot and I wanted to be sure there were no more and the other being I want to tie in the cross member like I did the other side for strenght and to remove the silly water traps...

Just need to make the other wing mount bit and the front will be then done. Next Job is to cut the turret out like i did the other side as I know its been welded before and it don't look that neat so I want to be sure its strong and do it again :)

I then had a go fitting a K-series manifold, lines up well and with some work I think I might be able to mount the t25 on it..

Once the welding is all done I think I may blast the hole bay then just prime it all at once. Would make life easier.

Well I braved the cold yet again, Finish my front strut/torret/ inner wing..
Basically made some spacers to move reinforce the torret mount or what ever you want to call it.

I then wired wheeled the rest of the underseal and brush painted the inner arch with Zinc primer, once it were dry I went round the edges with etch primer. They will all be seemed sealer and spray primed, stonechiped, then gloss painted with 10l 2k once eventually :)

As the cross member was now finished I decided to drill the holes for the rad and tie bar mount, then I gave it a good wire wheel and primer. The Inter-cooler mount do need moving though, but that is a job for when I can actually fit the bumper etc.

I think you would be surprised how heavy the rust is I have removed. I will weigh the car when its done, can't see it being much heavier tbh. But I don't really mind as long it is strong :)
