This is very impressive, love the fabrication you are doing and really thinking things through and also having the balls to chop off things nobody would consider attacking with a grinder.
Will be a bit of a weapon once your done :thumb:
Oh is that what he mean....silly me for thinking he was building a water slide lol lol lolQuote:

About a kilo? lol
no progress tonight? you're slacking....
Evening all!
I have been getting on with the strict weight loss regime this evening as well as some actual paint prep - here is what i've been up too
Got red of these as they were deemed as unneeded - the rear seat belt anchoring points - i tidied up the holes after i had taken these pics.

And another hole here just because lol

Oh and a few more here
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...ndseats178.jpg
I think i'm nearly done with the 'hole' situation so i moved on to prep - basically concentrating on the inside of the car alone (this is much easier with the car on its side) i have keyed up the interior and began the masking up in preperation for some application of primer then paint :thumb:

It all still needs a little more prep then a blow out (don't we all lol), and a degrease before i consider any painting.
Pardon??Quote:

i cant beleave you havnt removed the dash panel
im liking the idea of the holes not seen that before, can i ask what you doing with doors for waight ? im asking because im thinking of way to basicly have it just skin cross braces to stop it flapping about or close as possible unless some one has better idea ?
Little update for tonight - I got on with the prep making sure i was happy with all areas etc then i gave everything a good clean/sweep/blow out and hoover as cleanliness is key to a decent paint finish :thumb:i also got a couple of heaters in the garage to up the temp a little ;)

This was followed by some more masking and a degrease all over with panel wipe and another blow out

Now the part you have all been waiting for....the first application of some paint (all be it the green primer i was on about lol)
The colour of the primer is hard to see but it has come out a light matt green which is a good base for the darker finish coat that i will be applying shortly.

IMO the primer has come out very well and i'm happy with the finish - even coverage and minimal runs, hangs etc.
I love your update's any actual pics of the paint your using?
Do you love them for any reason in particular? lol i haven't any pics of the paint atm but i will take some tomorrow :thumb:Quote:

Dont worry Benn.
Olly said James is very good with his hands.
Well i think he was talking about rubbing this lot off lol.
Don't even start Benn lol the primer has gone on well considering i didn't know how it would turn out given i haven't ever painted with it but i bet i end up funking the top coat  lolQuote:
